Can I add additional fields in the entities?

Yes, you can add the additional fields in the entities of your store. In the StoreHippo, ecommerce platform, you can add metafields in the entities. Metafields are the extended fields in entities that are used as an additional field in store’s resources such as products, categories, orders etc. To add the additional fields in the entities, follow the steps given below:

• Go to the “Advance Settings” - > “Metafields” section in the StoreHippo Admin Panel to add metafields.
• Click the “Add New” button to add a new metafields or additional field in an entity.
• In the “Name” field, select the entity for which you want to add the metafield.
• Provide the field name and field type. You can also provide the validation and other details if needed.
• After providing the details, click the “Save” button.
