How can I add a pop up banner on site load?

If you want to add the pop-up on site load in your e-commerce store, then first you need to download the “Pop-up at site load” app from the StoreHippo app store. After downloading the app, add a widget and banner. Finally, edit the widget name in the downloaded app. 

Install “Pop-up at site load” app

To download the app for your e-commerce store, follow these steps:

• Go to the “Advance Settings” - > “Apps” section in the  StoreHippo Admin Panel. 
• Click the “Visit StoreHippo App Store” button. It will redirect you to the StoreHippo App Store.
• Search for the app “Pop on site load” and install it.

Add new widget

After you have downloaded the app, you need to add a new widget. To add a new widget, follow the steps given below:

• Go to the “design theme” section in the StoreHippo Admin Panel. 
• In the HTML section, click the “Show all widgets” button.
• Click the “Add a new widget” button.
• Now, enter the widget name as “popup-banner” and template.
• Click the “Save” button when you are done and your widget will be added successfully.

Add new banner

Once you have added the widget, proceed with adding the baner. To add a banner, follow the steps given below:

• Go to the “Site” - > “Banners” section in the StoreHippo Admin Panel. 
• Click the “Add New” button to add a new banner.
• Enter “popup-banner” in the “Name” field.
• Upload the banner image and click the “Save” button.

Edit the widget name in the downloaded app

Now, you need to edit the widget name in the “Pop on site load” app. To do so, follow the below mentioned steps:

• Go to “Advance Settings” - > “Apps” section in the StoreHippo Admin Panel. 
• Click the “Settings” option of the app.
• Click the “Edit” button to provide the widget name and header.
• Enter “popup-banner” as the widget name field and in the “Header” field, enter the tagline to be displayed. 
• Click the “Submit” button.
