Is there any way to avoid spam account registration on the StoreHippo ecommerce system?

As a store admin, you will always want only genuine users and sellers (if you have multi store ecommerce) to get registered on your e-commerce store. You can achieve so by avoiding spam account registration. To avoid the spam account registration, you need to enable the user verification and seller verification flow. To do so, follow the steps given below:

Enable User  Verification

• To enable user verification, go to the “Settings” section in the StoreHippo Admin Panel. 
• Go to the “User Settings” section.
• Now, check the “User Verification Required” checkbox to enable the verification.
• Select the verification method to enable. 
• There are three types of user verification in StoreHippo - Email, Phone, and Email and Phone.

Enable Seller  Verification

• To enable user verification, go to the “Settings” section in the StoreHippo Admin Panel.
• Go to the “Seller Settings” section. 
• Select the “Seller Verification Required” checkbox to enable the verification for the sellers.
• Choose the Seller verification method. There are currently three types of user verification in StoreHippo: Email, Phone, and Email and Phone.
