How is return of product handled by StoreHippo?


Is the application built to support product returns? What is the process and application steps involved in handled returns?

There are 2 ways of handling returns on the platform. They are explained below:

  • Return form storefront
    The customer can request a return from the "My Orders" section under "My Account" stating the items he wants to return and the reason for the same. After that, the master admin, from the back-end, can approve or disapprove the return and process it accordingly. 

  • Return from backend
    The customer who wants to return the product contacts the admin and requests to return the product. If the admin approves the same, he/she can generate a return from the back-end.
