What is home page priority in the SEO section and what value we need to enter in it?

You will find the “Home Page Priority” field in the “Setting” -> “SEO” section of the StoreHippo Admin Panel. In this field, you need to enter the sitemap priority of the home page of your e-commerce site. 

You need to enter a value between 0 and 1. The default value of the home page priority is 0.5.

The sitemap priority is used by crawlers to determine the importance of the page as compared to other pages of your ecommerce store. In other words, it is used by the webmaster, to signal the importance of individual pages within the website to Google and other search engines.
